Fantastic Fridays!
Come and visit West of Seoul right beside town square on Willis Way on Fridays and enjoy our weekly fried chicken special! Don't worry, we will have our healthier options as well along with our sweet treats!
Another exciting Friday feature that we will be doing is our Kimchi Shop! We have had an overwhelming amount of requests for Kimchi so we will now be selling our signature house made Kimchi all Friday lunch and afternoon on a first come, first serve basis. 500 ml containers can be purchased for $6 and 1 ltr containers for $11.
Come out and celebrate the end of your week with us and we will see you on the streets!

Where we're at in October!
October is already here and we are finally hitting the streets! Stay tuned for our confirmed opening date in Uptown Waterloo!
We have some exciting events in the meantime in both the Uptown Waterloo and Downtown Kitchener areas.
On October 12th and 13th we are excited to be part of Oktoberfeast, an official Oktoberfest licenced event! Join us in Waterloo town square with a number of other southern Ontario food trucks from 5pm until 8pm on the Saturday night, and from 11am until 3 pm on Sunday afternoon.
We are also excited to be participating in some great fundraisers, the first of which is for Fire prevention month on October 19th at Center in the Square. We will be selling some tasty food truck brunch from 9am until 1pm with our Waterloo food truck friends The Schmuck Truck, SWAT, Great British Bake and El Luchador!

September in Stratford!
We've been having a great time at all the great culinary events in Stratford this September. Despite the rainy Saturday of the Stratford Garlic Festival, we had a great weekend and you cleaned us out of kimchi! No worries though kimchi fans, as we are back in Stratford this coming weekend on September 21st and 22nd for Savour Stratford, with more kimchi for sale along with some tasty food truck inspired eats! We'll be serving up Korean BBQ tostadas with lots of local and seasonal garnishes, along with our famous chocolate chili brownie cookies and more! Savour Stratford is an award winning culinary festival, so be sure to catch it!
Following our Stratford weekend we are booked for private events on September 28th and 29th, however we'll be back up and running in October!

Sorry for the delay!
Hi Everyone! We would like to apologize for the delay with our new truck. Unfortunately there are some hold ups that are out of our control, however we will be on the streets in no time! We would like to thank you all for your constant support and kind words and look forward to serving you some kimchi-fied food soon! A special thank you goes out to Hilary Abel and Melissa Durrell for all of their hard work and enthusiasm for food trucks in the K-W!
September is going to be a very busy month, however we still have some availability in October, so send us an email if you have any inquiries for events!

Welcome to the West of Seoul Website
We are Kitchener-Waterloo's first Korean and Asian street food inspired food truck that will be hitting the streets July 2013!
The West of Seoul gourmet food truck is the vision of KW resident Christopher Kim who has been working in the local food industry for over a decade. West of Seoul is the actualization of Christopher's dream and passion to share his unique cuisine with the local community.
We are currently awaiting the arrival of our brand new truck, but in the mean time we are doing lots of recipe testing, kimchi-making and booking festivals, events and private parties!
